  17.      --tt            Simply ``touch'' the archive, so that the sym-
  18.                    bol table will be considered up-to-date.  Use-
  19.                    ful after copying an archive.

  21.      --LL            Disable locking.  Ordinarily  sranlib  and  ar
  22.                    use  flock()  to  synchronize access to files.
  23.                    This option turns locking off.

  29.      SSrraannlliibb is similar to rraannlliibb  except  that  it  operates  on
  30.      libraries  containing  SPUR  binaries.  See the manual entry

  35.      The existence of this program at all is a bug.  There should
  36.      not  be  different versions of rraannlliibb for different instruc-
  37.      tion sets, but rather a single version that can  handle  all
